Tuesday, 11 October 2011 05:29

Learnthings’ Zimbabwean partner e-Learning is driven towards making Zimbabwe one of the leading countries in ICT deployment and integration. Learnthings trained a group of Master trainers in April 2011.

“On Thursday, 6 October 2011, a total of 132 teachers "graduated" as Participant Educators after undergoing the Intel Teach Getting Started 32 hour course. The Minister of ICT, the Secretary (Equivalent of Director General) in the Ministry of ICT and the Ministry of Education Official attended the graduation. The Participant Teachers were  presented to the Vice President of the Zimbabwe Government, Joyce Mujuru. It was an exciting experience and an important endorsement of the Intel Teach program. I am pleased to advise that we continue to make important steps towards a country wide Classroom eLearning.” Itai Masimirembwa
